After the great reception last year of these sweet wooden buttons, I have expanded the inventory with lots of new designs. Now I need to find another antique wooden type drawer so I can take all of them with me to fall and winter shows. In the meantime, pop by the brick and mortar store to get some for your projects.
At our house we work with many different materials and technologies. The kid is using a 3Doodler to make a Pokéball for himself, while I am working on a doll. What is not in the picture is Morley the cat laying at our feet and Mishka the French angora bunny sitting in the grass. Oh, and the lovely breeze carrying the smell of the barley mushroom soup I made for dinner.
Mulberry silk roving is amazing for inclusion in wet felting, for spinning, for natural crafting, for use with an embellisher, and best of all to have a pretty, shiny ball to admire and fondle.
After a few works of dyeing locks, felt, silk and roving, I am ready to pack for … Oh, wait… There is still lots of labeling and sorting to do. And of course, I keep working on more colours.
